DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?

The entire ground floor, except the courtyard area is one level and easily accessible to wheelchairs. There is also a wheelchair accessible bathroom. The Upstairs band room is accessible via a platform stair lift and has a wheelchair accessible bathroom, please see staff on arrival for assistance or call 9550 3974 to discuss any special requirements.

IS THERE A SMOKING AREA?

Smoking is permitted in the open air courtyard at the rear of the venue.

DO YOU HAVE POKER MACHINES?

No, the venue is proudly pokies free.

ARE UNDER 18S ALLOWED IN THE PUB?

The whole ground floor is authorised for minors, so kids are allowed in, provided they are accompanied by their parents, until 10pm. The upstairs band room is not a minors authorised area and is restricted to over 18’s only.

DO YOU CATER FOR BOOKINGS/ FUNCTION ENQUIRIES?

HOW CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS TO SHOWS?

All tickets for NSC are sold via the Ticketscout Box Office

You can choose to either print off e-tickets or you can collect them from the door at NSC on the night of the show.

WHAT ARE THE BOOKINGS FEES FOR TICKETING?

Booking fees are charged to cover bank fees and admin costs. Booking fees are NOT refundable.

ARE SHOWS AT THE NEWTOWN SOCIAL CLUB SEATED OR STANDING?

All NSC performances are general admission & standing room only unless otherwise stated on the ticketing page.

CAN I BRING RECORDING DEVICES LIKE AUDIO, TAPE, CAMERA OR FILM INTO THE NSC?

No, you cannot record an artist’s performance. You would require permission from the artist and the venue as per the Copyright Act, as the performance is “owned” by the artist. The authority to allow or not allow such recording devices on the night rests with the artists performing and not the venue.
